I use my computer to surf the net, watch videos on the net etc.
I play simple games on the net or by CD. Nothing heavy or 3d.
Would I really need or see much difference if I bumped my onboard video memory from 64 to 128 meg?

I use XP and have 1 gig of ram. Have Sempron 3100 proocessor.

It doesn't matter much for 2D applications and videos. It matters on newer games.

If all is working fine u need not increase the Video Memory to 128 as this will slow down the OS speed.

You probably would not see much difference as you don't really run heavy 3d graphics. Anything that does not run with an onboard video card would probably not run even if you max out the memory settings.

On-board Video memory can't be changed to a higher value, and it takes memory away from the total RAM installed on your PC.

So, you're stuck with what you have.

confident, your CPU is having to do issues that would desire to be delegated to an excellent GPU. shouldn't make plenty difference with a information superhighway browser, ordinary business enterprise, laptop. yet will yet a real hit on your game overall performance.
