I have a laptop, toshiba satelitte, and the screen got messed up. So I got a monitor to plug in to the laptop and it works great. Now, when I try to watch a movie that I downloaded from a bit torrent client I cannot see it on the monitor. I can se it on the laptops own screen but like I said it is meesed up so there is no way of actually seeing the movie but just a little piece of it. Why will it show on the laptop screen and not on the monitor that isplugged into it? And how would I fix it?

We are trying to figure out how to blur or soften the edges of a picture in Photoshop. We want the edges to gradually fade out to white while the majority of the picture remains intact. How should we go about doing this??

I have no problem being able to do one at a time, and have got them both to work separtley, but I cant get them to work at the same time. I realize that video is going to be crappy on the s-video out, but I plan on just using that to watch video.

Which is the best operating system to get. A windows operating system or an Apple. I want to know which offers more security and easiness to the costumer. I keep getting the same message, "A recent attempt to attack your computer was blocked." when I view the details it is the same source each time.(74.210.15.77) I there any body that can stop this person from doing this? The Motherboards are both Socket 478 but I want to know if they are compatible and I can simply switch out the processors and they will both work.

The Compaq EVO has a Pentium 4 1.90 ghz
The HP D530 has a Pentium 4 2.60 ghz (2 CPUs)

I am assuming the D530 is a Dual Core since it says that at the end and there is only 1 CPU chip inside.

Can I switch both of them out and have both still work?
