my son hit some keys on the keyboard, and now my taskbar is vertical on the right side of my monitor instead of horizontally on the bottom. its driving me crazy...ive tried everything i know how to get it to go back, but nothing is working. i goto properties for the taskbar and nothing is there that will help. anyone know how to fix this??? best answer to someone who will help me. tks!

ive tried tile windows horizontally and vertically, this is just for the windows pages themselves, doesn't work. also i can't drag it down, just to the right and left.

You should be able to drag it back to the bottom, using the resize tab on the taskbar. I'm throwing up a link that details the procedure with pictures.

Right click on the start button and choose properties>
make sure that you are on the task bar tab(in the properties window)
Uncheck the box that says "Lock Taskbar"
Choose okay
now click and hold onto a blank area of the task bar and move your mouse all the way to the bottom of the screen.
Relock the taskbar and you are done

1. Click and drag the taskbar to where you want to place it.

2. If the step above doesn't work, please right click the taskbar and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar", then click and drag the taskbar to the location you'd like it to be at.

hmm on my computer you just go to the taskbar right click and it will show you properties cascade windows tile windows horizontally and vertically and some other stuff ... you should be able to just click tile horizontally and it will go back to the bottom ... Good luck

Try right-clicking on the taskbar, and unlock it and drag it back to where it was.

On the bar, press right button on mouse. Then choose "tile windows horizontally"

pass to an empty area in the beginning up menu and press and carry the left mouse button then drag the mouse cursor to the backside of the demonstrate the place the bar became meant to be in case you dont prefer this happening by probability anymore you may awesome click on the bar and click lock the job bar. desire this helped! :)

Usually you can just drag it back down there with the mouse.

click it with your mose hold it and drag it back to the bottom
