I am looking for an adapter/cable to connect a DVI cable to a VGA port in my computer. Where can I purchased a cable/adapter for under $5, no more than $6?

You don't need a DVI to VGA you need a VGA to DVI you always say from /to . So you can hook a DVI monitor to a VGA output from a computer. YOu will not get any better picture because it is outputting via VGA...I have a bunch of the other way using DVI from computer and splitting into a VGA and DVI both output...THanks

You can try your local Best-buy or Circuit City, they usually have those adapters at a resonably low price. Even Wal-Mart is starting to carry these things.
