It's my man's birthday and we recently bought a home. We also have lots of toys; 4 wheelers, jeeps, and snowmobiles. I puchased a tool chest and now have to fill it with everything he could need to do home repairs, vehicle repairs, you name it! Everytime he goes to fix something he never has the right tools and he feels bad always having to borrow. If anyone would like to offer a list of items I should purchase, please let me know! I only have until August 5th!

i have a toyota starlet gt turbo just changed the piston rings, and valve seals due to blue smoke..after replacing the worn out parts the smoke is still as thick as it was before..the mechanic said that the liner's were alittle bit loose so he thinks that could be the problem but from past experiences even with loose liners a fresh set of piston rings wouldn't spew out this much smoke..i'm leaning toward my turbo being busted..is there a way i can figure out if the turbo is the problem? something unique to the turbo itself that busted piston rings or valve seals wouldn't do? so far the turbo isn't noisy, when i had the overhaul no oil was present in the turbo manifold leading to the engine, there is oil loss...smoke sometimes present during startups but not always, puffs come out especially when i'm going in reverse or accelerating, smoke not visible if i'm going at a constant speed

i drove my dad's car yesterday and got stuck in traffic and ended up being rear ended by some big SUV. Being a new driver and uninsured, i panicked and didn't take down the guy's info and he ended up giving me false info. so now i either have to buy a new car or repair the car myself. is it even possible to repair a trunk in this condition? the car still runs btw

97 Ford Taurus, 3.0 6 cyl. I have replaced the coil pack and all plugs and bought the most expensive wires but the #2 has burns in it. I have replaced this one wire several times and it isn't touching the motor or anything. I takes about a month after replacing for me to notice the engine is running a little rough so I check the wires and again it is the same one.

For like the last year my car has been pulling up the service engine soon light. I have taken it to the mechanics and they accidentally deleated the codes history so i took it to an auto parts shop and the code that it's pulling up is the "too rich" code. i have had the air filter replaced, additives added to the oil change and a treatement to the gas tank to make the gas more productve. Any ideas as to what the code "too rich" means? please don't say well take it to the mechanics and they'll tell you because, um, like i already know that. Thanks.

My car will have to sit with the interior light on for at least 16 hours. I don't know why the light is on, nor do I know how to fix it. Will my car still start in the morning, when I can take it somewhere?

The pneumatic tire on my kids wagon has gone flat. If I take it to a tire place, are they going to laugh in my face? Do they fix little tires? Or should I just order a new one fron the wagon company? I want whatever is going to be the cheapest. Thanks

Ok, my car broke down several months ago. It has been parked in a steep driveway since then with the parking brake on. Well, when we finally checked it out, it turned out that the car just needed a new battery. (I know stupid) The problem is that now, the rear wheels are totally locked up so the car is stuck and we can't jack it up at all because it's on a steep grade. Any suggestions??

I have leather seats so it didn't settle as much as cloth would have, but I smoked in my car for maybe 4 months. I always left the window down, which did not help as much as I wanted it to. They sell all kinds of 'New Car' scents, but none of them actually smell like it and none of them stay. I have cleaned & conditioned my leather, even replaced the Air Cabin Filter in my car. What do you recommend. I just haven't found the right thing yet. Please help!!
