My car will have to sit with the interior light on for at least 16 hours. I don't know why the light is on, nor do I know how to fix it. Will my car still start in the morning, when I can take it somewhere?

first off, fix the light problem. Is the light switch turned to the right which keeps the light on all the time? try turning it both ways with the door closed to make sure. Then check for a door not closed. If all else fails, remove the bulb from the lite. Careful, it's gonna be HOT. Sometimes that courtesy light will drain the battery for sure. You don't want to be stuck with a dead battery. Good luck.

If you don't pop off the plastic lens and remove the bulb your car will not start in the morning. I would guess that one of your door switches is sticking or is shorted. Make sure they are mounted correctly so they can operate like they should. Once you pop out the bulb you won't have anything to worry about. Good luck.

Nope. Had the same problem with a lebaron. Pull out the fuse, or disconnect the battery, or you will be looking for a jump in the AM. You could also go out every 2 or 3 hours and crank it up for a min.

Maybe the console light dimmer switch is turned too far and has turned on the Dome light. Try turning the dash dimming switch the other way and see if it turns off.

where you turn on your head lights turn it counterclockwise, this will turn the interior light off, if its a dial thing turn it toward the floor.
