I've only had moon roofs (3), so it's hard to compare with sunroofs. They are similar so I'll try.
Pros
1. They can let in a lot of light while you're driving and can also add a lot of heat or cold inside if you don't have a sunshade.
2. Provides additional exhaust ventilation .
3. Great if you have a smoker in the car.
4. They do dress up a vehicle.
5. They look kinda cool.
6. Resale value and ease of selling.
Cons:
1. Even if it's tinted you'll roast without a shade even though you have A/C.
2. No additional fresh air.
3. It's another (hopefully glass) area to clean.
4. Cost...Electric moon roofs can be pricey, but just the same they still look cool and dress up a vehicle.
5. See 4.
6. Initial cost, but it is a selling point and additional feature.
7. SAFETY: This is one that you might have not considered. Like I said I've had 3 moon roofs. On the last one I rolled the SUV several times and lost the drivers window and windshield. The moon roof was gone. It simply disappeared as the roof caved in. I'm darn glad I had my belt on to tell you this or my head would be part of the highway!
Lots for you to consider, but they do look cool.
Hope this helps you reach a decision and good luck.

Pros: A sort-of convertible experience without the hassle and loss of trunk space. Helps resale value on used cars (people like sunroofs!). Helps ventilate the car somewhat when parked in the sun.
Cons: Makes you wish you had a real convertible. Also, just one more thing to go wrong (electronics, leaks).

Pro is that it's nice on a cool summer night to have open. The bad thing is it's something else to go wrong on a vehicle and when they get old it may leak when it rains.

Let's in sun..which means the car will heat up more in the summer. But, that could be a good thing in the winter.
Let's in air..but let's face it--that just ruins a good hair day.

they let in sunlight and warm the interior or you can open them up and feel the fresh air.
The cons are close to the same, they warm up the interior, and they can leak, they can be left open and it could rain, and sometimes the fresh air is not that fresh.
I have them in my car and in my truck.
