on a 07 corolla?? i dont wanna get noise outta it with an exaust, what are some good performance upgrades for this small engine, nothing too expensive either...

91 Geo Prism LSI, started making funny noises as I pushed on the gas, then it started feeling way wrong, so I pulled over, then it died on me. I then tried to restart it, It sounded like it was turning over, but wouldn't start, so I then stepped on the gas, when I did, It made a loud noise, like the engine blew up and a bunch of smoke came out of the engine. Later I saw a large puddle of oil on the ground and a few metal pieces.

ok the other day i tryed replaceing the bac drum brake shoes.....i got it all apart and the old ones out.......then i got the new ones in and tryed to get the drum back on but it would not go on shoe linings were too thick from what i could tell....so i put the old ones back in and the drum went back on but very snugly.....now i tryed getting it out of the garage...and i cant back it up there like jamed or something i can move forward no problem but i cant back up so no i cant get out of the garage......i would like to know what i can do if anything.....and i would like yto avoid going to a michanic one cuse i dont trust them and two iam 16 and i dont make that much and i dont want to be spending 400 bucks to get it towed to the shop and get fixed......any ways i have made a big thing hear so if an one can help me as to what to do about my problem i would appreciate it

I have assumed that I have a short somewhere that is causing this blown fuse, but I would like to know if anyone might know the area of the short.

I own a '95 Ford Taurus Sedan and the fuse controls my radio, clock, dome light, interior door lights, ding indicators for leaving on lights and leaving keys in car. I have tried replacing the fuse and before I can even install it, it sparks and blows.

I prefer to have an idea of where the issue is coming from before I take it to a mechanic and they try to tell me it's something else entirely.

I drive a 1997 Toyota Rav 4. It's a 4 cylinder car so you'd think that the gas mileage would be good, but it isn't. I fill up gas almost everyday and it runs out so quick. it's ridiculous. I don't know if I have a leak in my tank or what... Does anyone have any ideas?

when i pour antifreeze into my car there's just a little puddle of antifreeze under my car nothing that i thought was a problem but now my car is starting to overheat and my low coolant light is coming on even after i put antifreeze in it so when the light came on i checked the antifreeze and it was only about 1/4 fill after i had just filled it up. can someone please tell me whats arong with my car?

Bougt a little junker to commute in. 1999 Daewoo Nubira.
P185/65R14 are the tires that are on them. If I wanted to buy some online that were just a little off will it effect my vehicle?
P185/70R14, P185/75R14 , So on. What exactly is the 65, 70, and 75? Could I look at something other than 185? Are there like 190s or 180s? I know I cant do anything about the rims.

Well, about a week ago my jeep died. The next day, I was able to get it started and off to the nearest auto parts store. He did a diagnosis, and st said that my battery was nearly dead, and that my alternator and starter were fine. After he replaces the battery, I noticed that it was still a bit sluggish to start up. He looked at my starter, and said it was "saturated" with oil. There are 2 bolts that he suggests tightening ( I haven't tightened them yet due to my inexperience and my boyfriend is 100 miles away) The vehicle has ran pretty fine the past few days, but has pooped out on me today. I cant get it started. What exactly does oil on the starter do? If the starter is indeed the issue, why did the diagnosis machine say it was fine?

I have a 04 TJ Wrangler w/ (automatic trans); When driving sometimes, especially uphill, I'll put pressure on the gas pedal but there is no increase in RPM or MPH until pedal is 75% down. Usually occurs on highway. I just had my map and tps sensors replaced to fix a downshifting problem I had. Any chance these issues are related? Any ideas on how to fix the pedal issue?

I have a 1999 Mercury Sable with the base 3-liter V6 engine. It has about 130,000 miles on it. The past couple of days it has started jolting every time I take off from a complete start. It feels almost like the engine is revving out of gear and then finding the gear. It is really weird. A few suggestions I've had from friends include.- faulty transmission, low on transmission fluid, broken motor mounts, and a dirty fuel filter. While I'm sure they are trying to be helpful, none of them know all that much about cars. Just wondered if anyone out there might know what is causing this to happen. WAnt to know if it's worth trying to get it repaired, or is it time to look for another car?

my car makes a rubbing/grinding/crunching kind of noise everytime i brake and i can feel it rubbing through the brake pedal. i looked it up online and talked to my stepdad and learned it's probably my brake pads and possibly the brake discs. does anyone know around how much it will cost to have one or both of these replaced?

I am going to bring the pipe to the shop and they are going to charge the rate of 80/hr. to install it. Is this the going rate for an independant shop. It is really close to what the dealers now get.
