My Dodge is my baby. I've had this van for about 1 year now.

150,000 miles, 3.9 engine and purrs like a kitten all regular maintenance was kept up great. Nothing leaks, check engine light never comes on. Totally reliable

I have one problem that just started that i am not farmiliar with.

Van may start perfect 10 times straight. On the 11th start nothing, no power no click, no sound, nothing. If i hold the key in the start position or turn it a few times then it will start. Battery is fine, Altinator, belt & pulley have already been replaced about 6 months ago. check engine light is NOT on.

So what chould it be?

I had my brake system flushed when I had the front brakes of my '99 Chrysler Sebring Convertible replaced at Midas in the summer of 2005; the car was then at 81k miles. Approximately 7 months (and 5,000 miles) later, I had some work done at the Chrysler dealer and they said my brake fluid was filthy and needed to be replaced. I thought they were trying to rip me off, since I had just had that service done. Then today when I took my car to a reputable mechanic/service shop (not dealer-affiliated) for my somewhat overdue 90k service, they also told me my brake fluid was filthy and needed to be flushed.

I am planning on taking the car back to Midas to have them inspect and flush the system again if needed (hopefully for free), but am trying to figure out if there could be any other reason or problem with the car that would cause the brake fluid to get so dirty in such a relatively short period of time. Suggestions? Is there anything else I should be aware of??

THANKS!!

I have a '97 Cheverlot Lumina. The Engine Light came on. It was low on gas. The car died. The tank was filled, oil was changed. Light is still on. Car dies. Alot, it won't run for very long before dying. What is the next thing I can check for? Or should I just say screw it and take it to a mechanic because its not going to be the fluids or something simple...? Thanks in advance for your answers.

My car overheats in the highway when its very congested. Recently, I had my car inspected and they told me that my oxygen sensors are no good and I almost fail the inspection. Can anyone let me know if these two issues are related. Thanks in advance.

I have an old car, a 1982 Holden Gemini, and it goes through so much oil! I have to put more in every month! I do not know much about cars at all, so I don't know if that is normal but I have asked other people how much they use and its never as much as mine! I am thinking maybe its because its an older car, or maybe there is more to it? I use a BP oil they suggested to me at the station. My car also leaks a bit and I always point it out to a mechanic and ask why it uses so much, but they never give me an answer! please help, I love my car!

About 2 months ago, I bought a new scooter to joy ride on back roads with my 6 year old.
When I give it the full gas for take off, it often boggs down and sometimes quits. It does starts right back up though.
Lately, when we're stopping at a stop sign or red light, I will rev it up while I apply the brakes to avoid the potential engine failure situation. I am nervous to continue to ride it on the road with its unpredictibility at 2 months old and about 120 miles.
Im hoping it is just a simple adjustment, I can do myself.
Any insight is greatly appreciated!

P.S. Yes, I do now wish I had bought a more powerful ride, but did not do my homework..(frown)

Thanks Again,
Florida Scooter Girl.

My friend needed help taking his new front and rear bumpers (bodykit for 01 galant) to the shop to install. they didn't fit in anyone else's car, so what better than my 2007 Mazda6s 5-door. both bumpers fit in my car with plenty of room to spare.

to make the long story short, when we were taking the bumpers out, the corner of one of the bumpers grazed my car's bumper. when i looked to see if it left anything, i found these 2 white streaks about 1inch wide each. i tried scratching it out with my nail but it does not budge (when i run my fingernail across it, i cannot feel any change in levels)
my friend said it's probably from the primer of his unpainted bumper and it will just buff out.

is this true? can i actually remove this stain by buffing? or should i go about this a different way, and how?

How do you CHANGE WHEEL BEARINGS on a Suzuki Quad? I can see the outside one (there are two per side) but I am not sure how to remove and reinstall them.

Are there special tools needed? What are the steps?

THANKS!
