On my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now I'm seeing that my back pads are pretty thin too. Is the procedure basically the same or is there more to do with the back pads?

E-brake is the only difference.

I hope you're bleeding your breaks properly too. I've seen master cylinders get jacked up from debris coming from the calipers back up through the lines.

It's more involved because you have little shoes inside the rotor for the parking brake to take care of too. Don't forget to flush the lines until new fluid comes out.

Just changing the pads is basically the same, but the rotors will be different because of the emergency brake system.

The rotors will be the same but the CALIPERS will come off differently as they have the e-brake cables hooked to them , not a big deal

theres more to it because the back brakes are shoes not pads . be careful if you decide to do it yourself ! pay attention to everything you take off and how it came off because they will need to go back in - in reverse order.
