I was driving today and my "Check Gauges" light came on. I noticed that the engine temp was high, as the needle was all the way over in the red zone.

It stayed on for 15 seconds, went off, then the needle dropped back down into the "middle temp" (between lowest and highest) where it usually is.

The AC was off and there was no noises, smoke, or anything coming from the engine.

I am thinking it's just some fault or computer glitch.

What do you think?

I purchased a trailer that has electric trailer brakes. I don't know how to hook up the brakes. The 7 way plug I purchased has only one wire for the electric brakes (blue). Each hub on the trailer (there are 4 of them) has 2 wires coming out the back side. I assume one is the power and one a ground. Do I just splice all the power wire and all the ground wires together and attach them to the power and ground on the plug? Help me out!

I just bought a 2003 Chev Tracker and the brakes started squealing a couple of days after I started driving it. I took it back in and they told me, after they drove it a couple of days, that the brakes were new and it took time for them to set. Then the squealing would stop. They don't squeal every time. But most of the time.

I got a dougnut put on (the rear drivers side). This happened today....I know the rules to driving with a dougnut, but I want to know if anyone has used it for 4 days. I can not get my tire fixed until Friday. I commute to work a TOTAL of 15 miles a day...I will not be going anywhere else. Just work until I get this fixed. What is your experience (I already know the rules about the dougnut).

When it comes up, it often wants to go outside of the track and also forward a bit, leaving an open area at the back of the window. This lets rain in unless I fix it every time I get out of the car, it's especially a pain if I have it down and it starts raining while I am driving.
