i lost my ignition key to my 1995 buick lesbre whats the cost of a locksmith and can he make a key from the ignition switch

I'm pretty sure your Buick has a computer chip in the key. It's a small black sqaure on the side of the key itself and is visible. If it has this, you will have to get a new key from the dealer, and maybe even have the ignition replaced to match the computer ID of the new key. My '91 Buick Park Avenue had this type of key, so I would assume yours does as well.

Go to or call any GM dealer. They can make a key from the vin number. Its called a code cut key.
If you bought the car new the key number is with your owners package.
If it has a chip in the key the car mau heve to go to the GM garage to reprogram the key.
Call the dealer first

maybe.but many newer carkeys are a dealer only deal...but why ask us...get on the phone to locksmith..today...now....
