ok i was looking for a compressor for around the garage, i dont really like buying harbor friegt stuff but i cam across this, http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=90385

it seems like a good deal, idk the highest tool i have is rated at 6 cmf but that's only a 1/4 drive air rachet, i dont know to much about compressors so any help would be great

That would work for most air tools that don't run for long periods of time. It isn't big enough for autobody sanders or paint spraying though. It's better than those oilless compressors by a long shot.

That will do fine. Unless you use the ratchet continuously without ever letting up the tank will buffer the air.
