How much should this cost to be repaired/replaced

I don't know cars at all... the guy at the shop says being an AWD it's gonna be a real pain.

Still recommend a novice doing this?

$40 for two bearings and an hours labor. It's pretty easy to do yourself. Sear or a parts store will have the 2 1/8" or so socket you need.

AWD shall we you have resistance on all wheels and its in all threat universal the only way your going to truly understand is to get each and every of the wheels off the floor ans examine the spin resistance on all 4 wheels
