I just bought a used car and it has new tires but 3 of them are the same and the other is a different brand. Is this okay or should I put up the money to buy that one new tire that is the same brand.

It feels like it's being steered from the rear, it just wanders around on it's own. I had a blow out the other day, and the wobbles seamed worse since. Could an engine mount cause this, or is it a wish bone bush. Or is it a ball joint, to be honest i hav'nt got a clue. Please help.

Hello and thank you for taking time to read this.... I have a 99' Grand Prix SE with 115,000 miles on it. Recently, whenever I turn the A/C on (within a few minutes of starting the car), a loud whistling/screeching noise (similar to a tea pot) would scare the hell out of me. I've read up on this problem and I think it could be a vacuum leak which causes low freon. Is this true? Several days ago, the A/C went completely dead on the 1,2,3 and 4 settings but works at 5 (only after the car seems to warm up and run for a few). More noticeably, it seems that whenever I have the dial set to 0 or off, and the vent set to any direction (feet, defrost, etc) I will still feel some air coming out. Similar to it being on the (1) one setting. Is the gauge broken, is it low freon? If I run a scan at Advance autoparts will it detect this? Any detailed response with answers or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I have heard this is normal, but does it actually do any damage to the engine? Also, why is there the same amount of oil loss whether the oil is synthetic or "dino"?

And finally, why is there oil loss at all when there's no leaks?

It is the badge on top of the bonnet, and not the badge on the front grill. It comes in 2 parts:
1) A chrome strip (which fits directly onto the bonnet, and extends from the front of the bonnet towards the windscreen. It is about 10 to 12 inches long), and

2) The sloping "A" where the "legs" of the "A" fit directly onto the bonnet in front of the chrome strip, and the top of the "A" slopes back towards the windscreen on top of the chrome strip.

It is an upright badge, which sticks up about 2 or 2.5 inches at its highest point (which is the top of the "A"), and tapers down as it goes backwards.

It is not the "Flying A" Badge, as is found on many other Austin models. I was told that only the very first A55 Farinas came with this Badge.
