I just picked my car up from having my gas tank replaced in my Volvo. I was getting a reading that i had a minor leak. I went to fill my gas tank up after picking my car up and my gas gauge will not go higher than just under a half a tank. I am pretty sure I filled it up...

How alarmed should I be?

99 ford escort 70,000 miles on it. When going up slight inclines it spits and sputters. Actually whenever the engine has a slight load on it, like running the AC. There is a slight vibration at idle. If you can help me diagnose the problem I would greatly appreciate it.

The blower for the air coditioner was not blowing air. I checked the fuse (it was fine) and replaced the Motor Blower Resistor. It still does not work. Someone suggested the air conditioning needed recharging. How does one go about doing that or does it have to be taken to a mechanic?

Just tiled my kitchen floor and now my radiator sits 1 inch higher then before and I can not hook it back up to the pipe + valve. There is absolutely no play in the pipe. Are there different heights of valves available or how could I raise the pipe about an inch?
Thank you in advance for your information.

My '03 Explorer is leaking freon in 2 places. So far the compressor is fine but the lines need to be replaced. I have been quoted $1,090.00 for parts and the with labor my total is $1,975.00. I am a little shocked at the cost and I want to make sure I'm not getting hosed (no pun intended).

Please help.
