I just picked my car up from having my gas tank replaced in my Volvo. I was getting a reading that i had a minor leak. I went to fill my gas tank up after picking my car up and my gas gauge will not go higher than just under a half a tank. I am pretty sure I filled it up...

How alarmed should I be?

Wow, i'm shocked in any respect the unfavorable responses to this question. I actually have a 2000 Volvo S80 T6 twin swifter and that i like it. an somewhat smooth journey and would bypass like the wind. My mission is the journey is so smooth i imagine i'm purely doing 100km/h and surely doing 170km/h. I actually have not had many problems with my vehicle and they are between the most secure vehicles on the line. My coverage costs went down because of it even although the Volvo is a extra expensive vehicle then the finest vehicle I owned. also the V6 engine will bypass for a lengthy time period and no matter if that is purely going to fee you $5000.00 i'd certainly bypass for it even once you should sink a pair grand later for upkeep it continues to be a distinctly good deal. Take this in attitude I stay in Canada and the position I stay which will be an somewhat good fee for a 2001 Volvo S80 T6.

They must have forgot to re-attach all the wires to the sending unit, take it back so they can fix it. Or they sending unit itself is bad. They will know either way when they drop the tank back out.

Take it back and have them fix it correctly this time because someday you will forget about this and most likely run out of gas.
