You can do it your self.
Drive out the broken stud. Go to an auto supply store and get a new stud and nut. Bring the broken one with you. Measure how long the threads are on a good stud.
You will find that the hub has to be in a certain position to slip the old stud out and the new stud in from behind.
You may have to grind a small amount from the head of the stud to clear on some cars. Some studs are already clearanced to fit.
Insert the stud. You can pull it into position by tightening the lug nut using spacers under the lug nut.
Remove the nut and spacers and you are all set.

You can repair it yourself if you have the tools. To remove the old broken lug, all you have to do is hammer it out. Take a chisel with a point and place it on the broken lug on the outside, and with a hammer, tap it out. In order to install a new one, you will need a lug tool. It is a vise like thing that pulls the new lug into place and seats it. It might be cost effective to remove the old one yourself, and have a garage put in the new one. It is best not to drive the vehicle for extended periods, cause the wheel was/is balanced based on all five lugs. Having one missing causes the weight of the wheel to shift out of balance, which will cause premature tire wear.

It can be easily repaired. Most cars have lugs that are a press fit in the hub. The old one needs to be punched out and a new one fitted. Shouldn't cost much.

It will hold, but they are easily replaced and fairly inexpensive. Doing it yourself will take some knowledge, a press, and a little patients.
