Restroom window?

Question

I need ideas on what to put to hide the window cause when we take a bath at night you can still see the light from outside. Curtains might be sufficient, but that is up to you to decide.


There are sheet vinyl covers available, as noted, that look like frosted glass, and they obscure vision from outside.

I know these work, because I have used them. but if the sun hits them directly for many months they can become hard and difficult to remove.


There is also a coating that frosts the glass, but comes in a spray can, I have seen it in US stores, but never used it.

There are sheets of bubble- surface glass to replace the original glass.

There are semi-transparent sheets of plastic used for replacement of standard window glass. These can be used in place of the glass, or added on top of the original one.

All of these will prevent anyone seeing through the window from the outside.

They make a semi-transparent vinyl window film over here in Germany. Makes it look like frosted glass. I'm sure they have something like that in a home center where you are.
