I know that all white wires go together, but now I'm left w/ red & black.

The red and black are the wires from the photo cell.The red is the switch leg and the black is the return.HOOK THE RED TO YOUR HOUSE,BLACK.HOOK THE BLACK TO THE LAMP HOLDERS.

That's not really enough info but I think the red wire is coming from the fixture and the black wire is from your supply power. If so, hook red to black. If there is a red and black wire coming from your fixture................all bets are off and I would try to find wiring info on-line or from the manufacturer.

I've done it, but I can't remember exactly where I put the red wire, so I won't answer your question, as I would rather not get you electrocuted.
