One is for power to the fan and one is for power to the light--you decide which way to hook them up...they should have equal power unless they're wired through a dimmer switch...Paul

I've never heard the term "lightly juiced" before. You have separate wires for the fan and lights. You can have two wall switches or have the fan wire hot all the time. Having separate power wires lets you put a dimmer switch on the lights without messing up the fan voltage.

One hot wire should be powered all the time and is for fan power since the fan has it's own switch. The other hot wire should come from a wall switch and it is for the lights on the fan. Both should be "juiced" the same.

Two possibilities. If you have two switches on the wall, one wire is for the fan and the other is for the light.(assuming you have a fan with a light kit). the other possibility is that one wire is hot and the other wire continues on to feed the rest of the circuit.
