When I drive my 6cylinder 1996 Honda Accord it feels like there is resistance when I accelerate? It feels like it is not in the right gear, however it is...

It is similar to the feeling when you drive with the emergency brake slightly engaged. That resisitance feeling, if that makes sense to you... And no, the emergency brake is not engaged.

There is also a low moaning noise that gets louder with acceleration and quieter when I slow down.. I have new tires on the car. Any idea what is going on? thank you for your help.....

there's a hose the goes from the radiator to some thing with several hoses coming out. One of those hoses (one that goes towards the engine) is leaking. It's a black hose, probable an inchish in diameter. I put tape around the hole, but it seems to have just made matters worse. I just need to get it home (10 highway miles). Can I drive it? Should I add water and drive it?

I disconnected mine as many others with an LT1 have and have noticed no negative effects so far even at -30.

When I first start my car in the morning, it starts fine, but while I am waiting for the car to "warm up" the engine starts to die out while I am just idling, not driving. I have to keep giving it gas so that the engine does not fully die out. If I don't give it gas it completely dies out and I have to start the car again. Once I take off, the car is fine and doesn't die out at lights or anything like that. What could be the cause of this and/or what repairs need to be made to fix my problem?

My 85 Riviera has 71,000 miles on original carb. Its on an olds 307 and is a Holly Q-Jet which is the original carb. My car runs relitively good and starts good but I get bad fuel economy. I also seen some stains on the crab near some of the gaskets so i assume it might have a small leak somewhere. And where could I purchase a rebuild kit?

I got to work this morning and let the car sit. then after work I put some fluid in the radiator. this fixed the overheating problem, but the engine now has a hard time working as if some spark plugs are blown out. I realized that I must have drove to work 30 minutes on the freeway with no fluid in the radiator this morning.

what should I do now?

How much would it cost to get just the trunk of a 1999 (black) bmw 528i repainted? I know I have to bring it in to get an estimate but I'm just looking for a ballpark figure based on anyone who has gotten a similar paint job before.

The knob broke off my ac control in my car and I've tried super glue with very little success. Because of it's location I need something to set fast. A new AC control unit costs $400 so I really need to fix it!

I have a 97 Pontiac Grand Am. I was told my water pump needed to be replaced. It is making a grinding sound and sounds like the bearings are not good. This sound just started in the last day or two. How long should it last before I need it replaced? and How much might it cost?

It is not leaking any fluids. Nor dose the thermostat show that it is over heating.

Hi, I have just bought a Renault Laguna Estate (s reg) so the older version. It only had one key with it and its a bit of a pain as hubby could do with one too as a spare. I have seen them on Ebay for not a lot of money but I assume they need to be programmed or something to work the central locking and ignition?
Does anyone know if this is right and if so roughly how much it will cost me to get it done please.
I am in the U.K.
Cheers.

My 1986 Cougar has the proverbial rusted out bottom of doors due to the window belts (the parts the window slides through into the door). I have no welding experience, but also very little money. Would I be okay renting a welder and cutting/welding new metal to the doors, or should this be left to a professional?

Thanks!

Well, the light in the car comes on and says that it needs coolant, so I put coolant in it. All is fine, don't see any leaks but every time I drive it, the collant level goes down. I have put over 2 gallons in it and it just keeps going down with no sign of leaks. What could this be? Thanks
