I have a 1990 Buick Lasabre and first of all, the steering wheel is off center to the left. When I turn left, there is a grinding sound. When I straighten out the wheel, it is no longer crooked for a moment, then it catches and jerks left again. Any ideas what this might be?

Is there a way to remove those dens since the dens are not push in,there proceeding out. I hate to buy a new hood sand it down perpare to set it up for paint and have a hood not match the body since the paint is ten years old. I no I could sand, down the area where the dens are hammer them in and fill the area in and them paint them. Time has change a lot of small body shops have people who think of ways to make jobs easier. I think or believe there is a simple way or tool that is out there to over come this. I'm sure it would be interresting materail to know there is equickment out there to do such a job that the average person would just give up and deal with it.

I have handicap push/pull hand controls to work the brake and accelerator of my car. The rod that is supposed to go to the brake is just a 5/8 tube. There used to be a U bolt with a 5/8 rod welded to it that would slide into the tube. The U bolt would attach to the brake pedal's arm. Does anyone know where I would be able to obtain a replacement for the piece that I'm missing?

Or is it better to just buy a new car. I'm looking to do a restoration on a cadillac allante or mercedes 500sl. Parts & Labor will run me 25k. But I like the old styling. Is it worth it to do it?

I know this is a very common problem with GM cars, my question is whether or not there has ever been a recall.

I am selling all of the parts that I had leftover from my 68 Pontiac Firebird 400, I have my hands completely full with my 69 Impala right now. I still have my powerglide tranny from my bird and I want to sell it to clear out some space in my garage. The tranny ran super strong when it was in my bird and gave me no problems whatsoever. I know these trannys are good for racing, so I'm hoping to fetch at least a couple to a few hundred for it. How much should I try to sell it for? Any help would be appreciated.

I want to add a cold air intake to my car. It has a 7 year powertrain warranty. It is a 2006 pontiac g6 coupe. I am worried if I were to add the intake, it would void my warranty. Does anyone know if my warranty would still be good should I add the intake? Thank you.

One of the spark plugs on my '96 Chevy S10 is stuck and feels like it's stripped. I've tried WD40, 3M, Freezing it and nothing. Is there any suggestion on fixing this? I know there's a coil repair or something like that. What suggestions do any of you mechanics have out there.

88 Taurus 3.8L off the road for 6 years. Prepped and got it running. Promptly drove it to gas station for a fill with complete fill with fresh gas. Drove about 2 miles. Got it home and it died in the drive. Turns out to be a fuel problem. Replaced the filter, but the old one showed no blockage.

Can start it after about 10 tries on the key, idles or revs OK for about 15 seconds and then starts to stumble and finally dies. While running, pressure at the schraeder valve is only about 15~19 lbs (should be closer to 40). When running, too smooth to be a handful of injectors, and one stuck shouldn't drop the pressure down that low anyway. Regulator is a PITA to remove as it's mounted upside down -- requires getting to fuel rail which itself is the PITA (have to pull air intake system & etc first). Don't see how to (briefly) deadhead the return easily.

How to isolate whether it's the regulator or fuel pump??? Too many metal lines with special fittings...

Please, only serious answers.

I'm trying to locate crash test data or someone that has a 97 sc1. I'm trying to get an idea of what structural damage may have happened when I was rear-ended. SC1 was at a stop, other car hit at 30mph.

Thank you.
