That, you don't wanna ask. That question and how do you clean them? Mine are like a gray color. It looks a little worn out dirty type thing? How to clean it? Oh and some parts is a little harder then the rest of the belt....

I need one. Let me know where they might or "will" have one. Not just a site that carries civics and accords. Look it up it you can please if not then whatever. Thanks guys. Oh btw i've looked and can't find one. Or an online store, perhaps my researching traits are bad. Any other suggestions?

I see a little metal hanging on the wheel it self, but should it be pointing straight up or at the mark a third of the way down on the cover.

To any experienced auto mechanics out there. I'm trying to replace the EGR valve on a 95 Cougar with the 4.6 V8.... REPLACE IT?!!! I can hardly gain access to it the way it's crammed between the back of the engine and the fire wall. So, is there some little know trick , that I'm not aware of, to getting to it, and acutally removing it?

i bought it then breifly after the idle drops then raises to normal.now it stalls and seems to be more often as time passes and now i want to fix it but i dont want to buy the wrong thing and continue wasting money on the wrong things can anyone give me some help?

Heres the thing, the last thing I did was set off my alarm and didn't have the key to turn it off. By the time I found my key (maybe 10 mins) the alarm was off already. After that I did not turn on my car I just left it at home while I did some errands. When I came home I tried to start the car but it never started. I thought it was the battery, I charged it and jumped it but nothing happened. I checked the fuses in case I blew one out, but they look good still. I'm not sure what else to do besides go to the mechanic. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is? PLEASE HELP!
Oh...when I turn the key it sounds like it’s gonna start but just stutters, rrrruurrruurrruruuuur!

2001 VW Golf, 125000kms.

The car hasn't been used for 1.5 months. I tried to start it today and it wont work.

The engine tries to turn over maybe makes it 1/4 the way, then the starter just makes a clicking noise until I let go of the key.

I thought it might be a bad battery, however even while the car is attached to jumper cables to another car the same behavior occurs.

The dipstick shows oil at the appropriate level, there is fuel in the tank. I suspect that the engine may be seized or insufficient lubrication making it too difficult for the starter to turn the engine.

Any suggestions?

The airbag light on my dash is on all the time. It seems as though it happened a few days after my husband installed a new CD player for me, but it didn't happen immediately. Is it dangerous to not have it checked? I need to get my van inspected ASAP too (it expired last month!) and I have a feeling that a warning light being on will kill my inspection. Any help is appreciated!

Oh...also, the Owner's Manual just says that if it stays on I should have it checked out. Lots of help that was!

I mean. should I change the oil so that the car could sit for while before I can get time to take it into a mechanic.

I know that I should not even turn on the car. but would it be ok to let it sit how it is, or would it be best to change the oil and oil filter before it sits for a while. to put a band aid on things.

I've checked compression its good changed the idle air control valve no luck. The car runs good no misses on any cylinder spark pugs look good oil stays full. Some help me figure this one out

I know that it could be the head gasket. I put a some fluid in the radiator and drove it home from work which is about 30 miles on the freeway. I got home and there is not much fluid in the radiator again. Is it ok to let the car sit over night or a few nights in the cold with not much fluid in the radiator and a little water in the engine block before I can get it to a mechanic.


then, could I drive it into a mechanic that is about 25 miles from my house. or should I have it towed in.

I'm currently trying to touch up the fuel door on my car. The paint code is W69 and the color is pearl white. After some research on the internet, I know it's tri-coat and so it's hard to find touch up paints. I found a website that will sell me both coats for $40 and then the third clear coat for more.

I don't want to spend $40, and will be happy with something that comes very close. Has anyone tried imitating pearl white with any other color? or does anyone have experience with car paints and have ideas on what may work best?
