The main damage is to the main, con rod, & cam bearings.
I'm very surprised that you were able to make it 10 miles with no oil. Wasn't the engine beginning to sound like a bag of rocks in clothes drier?

Alot of damages. I would say you would need a new engine.
My husband worked for a guy years ago that would have the mechanics drain the oil for oil changes and then he would put them on another job. He would then drive the car about 3 miles or so and then bring it back to the shop and fill up the oil. The customer would leave and later say that the engine was knocking and he would see them a new engine. Evil huh? (Of course my husband left long ago) Well he finally got caught....

Excessive wear on all moving parts.... dont drive the car, or even start the engine without any oil!!! The engine will probably seize up and you will need a new engine if you drive it 10 miles with no oil.

That's not a lot of miles, but it is sufficient to permanently damage the engine. The bearings, rings, pistons, crankshaft and valves are probably history. The best thing to do, is pull the engine out, use it for a doorstop, and replace it with a rebuilt. Or you could just pull off the radiator cap, drive a new car under it and replace it, junking the original car.

You failed to mention when you realized this problem. How many quarts of oil had to be added and/or what did the dip stick show ? On a 5 quart oil pan, with only 1 or 2 quarts short, and you didn't hot dog the engine, I don't see any problem, other wise the previous comments are correct

probably put some serious wear on the internal parts but if you drove normal you should be fine. Just fill it up with oil and check it after about every hundred miles to make sure you didn't burn a valve or break something else. If you are losing oil or it looks milky when you check it take it to a mechanic.

If your dipstick isn't showing anything at all then possibly you aren't all the way empty of oil. Sometimes that just means you are a quart low. Make sure you get it back to where it is before you drive it. It isn't that healthy on the engine running it and it being low on oil.

Without any oil at all, an engine should seize up pretty much immediately.

You could blow your engine so I don't recommend doing it. Get it towed instead or just add oil.
