Your battery is dead.
Your battery is fine, but the connections are loose and/or dirty.
The neutral safety switch has failed. Try again in neutral instead of park.
The wire that goes to the solenoid on the starter has fallen off.
The starter is bad.
The engine has frozen up due to a massive failure of some kind.
The security system has detected an attempt to steal the car and has shut down the start sequence.
The answer is the same whatever the problem is.
Call the tow truck, have it taken to your mechanic.

if you do not hear a click when you turn the key it could be your starter motor . if this is the case the bushes might be worn inside and not making a connection , flat battery

Offhand I'd say a starter. Or there's something wrong with your battery and/or alternator.

either your battery is dead...check the cable connections from clutter..blocking the terminals...
but most likely it is the alternator ..that needs to be replaced
