You got it
When you got the tires rotated you most of the time put the frount on the back.
You need all the tires balanced

Since this is an Explorer and since we know it had a bad alignment I'm going in a different direction than everyone else.

Uneven wear on the tires that are now on the front.

You'll be able to feel this by running your hand around the tread. If its bumpy the only thing you can do is rotate them back again or replace them. It the tread is worn smoothly have the balance re-done bu I'd bet its a wear problem.

Yes have the tires / wheels balanced and also tell the tech to make sure the wheels are not bent. If you had a bent wheel on the back and then moved it to the front it will be more noticeable. Good luck.

yes you need to get the tires balanced in the front, if your seat shakes it is the rear wheels. Your best bet is to get them all balanced

yep wheel balancing is the problem as goldwing said

Whilst going to get the wheels balanced you may want to get the tracking sorted as well this is the angle the tyres sit on the road so if the tyre / wheel is a bit too the right or left , then your tyres will wear out very fast, - PS Dont let yer dad touch your car :)
