the radiator has 2 chambers in it 1 for coolant and 1 for transmission fluid. the chambers have a slight leak between them and coolant is missing into transmission fluid.
this is easy to test for. just disconnect the transmission cooling lines at the radiator. the use a radiator pressure tester to apply pressure to cooling system without engine running. any coolant leaking where transmission cooling line connect, replace radiator.

A crack in the trans lines in the radiator would not only show as milky trans fluid but would also show as oil in cooling system.
If the coolant is clean then i would rule out the radiator.
you say you have a leak, maybe that is where moisture may be getting into the trans.
If your trans was rebuilt 9 months ago, check your warranty,
you may just find it is covered and get it checked and fixed for free, if not, drain the fluid, fix the leak and refill with fresh
fluid, if it does it again then you have a problem with the trans.

A overfill or underfill condition may cause the atf to foam resulting in a milky white appearing transmission fluid

sounds like water has gotten mixed in your fluid, maybe condensation, you should have your transmission drained and refilled to avoid any damage the mixture might cause.

if it looks like a strawberry milkshake then you probably have coolant mixed with your transmission fluid. it would be wise to get this looked at.
