The knob broke off my ac control in my car and I've tried super glue with very little success. Because of it's location I need something to set fast. A new AC control unit costs $400 so I really need to fix it!

You need an epoxy resin. That is made for bonding plastics. regular glue wont do the job. Look in the super glue section and it will be there.

try liquid nails it's used to put up shower wall liners.
