If it is bad, how do I change it or is this something that should be done by a pro? I do have a little experience with things such as starters and plugs and axles and things.

Just drove to the garage for petrol and each time I put the indicator on (either way) my full beam came on as well, and it wouldn't go off until the indicator did.
Any ideas what the problem could be please?
My car is a Fiesta if that helps at all.
Thanks.

When I turn the heat on in my 1994 Ford Taurus, it smells like waffles or pancakes...very maple syrup-y. Someone told me last year when I mentioned it, that it could be the sign of a major prob, but I dont remem what they said it was. It did it all last winter and is doing it again. It has been running good with no (knock on wood) probs. Is this smell a bad thing? Is this something I should mention to the mechanic?

I recently installed a new 2 core all metal radiator along with the recommended 195 degree thermostat. My problem is it isnt warming the interior of the vehicle enough to be comfortable especially when it is cold out in other words it just blows slightly warmed air. The blower motor works fine on all settings. This on a 3.9 litre 1993 dodge dakota.

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 short box, regular cab. It is time to replace the fuel filter, and I am wondering if the fuel pump is in the gas tank. No matter where it is, I need to know if it's electronic (the gas won't flow unless the engine is running, with no filter on that could be bad). I understand that a little gas will probably run out, but I don't want the whole tank flowing into my mouth. And also, do all GMC Sierra's "clunk" when you shift into Reverse? It has a 5.3 auto trans.

OK, with a pry bar I can pretty much pull the shaft out of the ps pump with the belt still on so Im guessing I have a broken shaft and a bad pump. How difficult is this to replace? How do I determine if I have hydro boost or vacuum boost? Its and 02 z71 4x4. Any help would be appreciated.

The deal is, my Dad spilled meat blood in the car, and it already is dry and he thinks it has already absorbed into the matting under the carpet in the back seat of the car. And it makes it smell terrible! It smells soo rottin and like fish really bad. He has already cleaned like 3 times, but there is still smell. Any ideas to get rid of the smell?

My gas tank has a hole in it and before I take it to a mechanic, I want to know if anyone has any idea what the price would be for a new gas tank for a 1998 Ford Taurus.

And just so you know, the tank has a hole in it about 1 1/2 inches square. Would that be small enough to patch?
