What colour smoke?? Blue smoke that appears only after start up is a valve issue. Some white smoke at start up could be normal, unless thick white smoke with a sweet smell then you've got problems like coolant leaking into motor.

Valve stem seals are shot, while engine is off oil drips into cylinders then when you start it burns. Next time buy an AMERICAN brand Auto.

If it is a blueish color, its oil, white is water from radiator or condensation, and black is carbon deposits. Go SEAFOAM the engine.
