There is 3 connections on a laptop l.c.d. It sounds like one of your connections is loose, or not seated properly.2 of the connections are on the back of the l.c.d panal, one connects the l.c.d to the base, if it is not seated properly, or loose, faulty etc... it can cause a blank screen, flickering, distortion etc....Also, it could be a bad cable, the wires in it could be loose. It shouldnt cost a lot to fix as a reseat would take 2 minutes, but there are a lot of cowboys out there who will try to gimmick you. If you have to replace the l.c.d that will cost you though. Good luck.

It's an bad connection of some sort. If you're unlucky then it'll be the connection between the screen and the circuit board, if you're lucky it could be a bad power connection usually at the point that the power lead plugs in - does the screen flicker when you move this connection around?

It's going to get worse and ultimate the screen will stop working (burn out) because it's not designed for this. Get an estimate before committing to having it repaired - it could be expensive.

At best it's going to be a dodgy backlight. Possibly an intermittent ribbon cable between the motherboard and the screen connector. Also you don;t say if it starts immediately or whether it takes a while to happen in which case it might be a heat fault. If it's been back twice already then the fault is going to be a nasty intermittent. The fault may be simple but I can't see it being a five minute job so yes it may cost a bit but mainly in labour charges.

If you have had the screen repaired 2 times already, iw ould call them back and demand they repair it or exchange it.
Call thier customer service number, explain what has been done, and how you keep having issues with the laptop so many times. Also, do soe research on the internet to see if others with the same laptop are having the same issues. Could have a class action lawsuit against them.

Backlight ?? Bulb that lites the screen ?? Sounds like the people who repaired it. I don't know what brand you got but if it was repaired under warranty and doesn't work it should still be warranty work. I don't know where you are but contact Ray Walp at the following link. He can tell you your problem or give you a price to fix. No cheating no gimmicks just great work at great prices.

if it is just the display itself then it could be the bulb that lights the screen. Don't know how much it'll cost to fix but am sure it can be.
