There are no "cheap" BMW service dealers. That's like saying "Where can I find the cheapest Mercedes service dealer?" You don't say where you live, or whether or not the car is still under warranty - that information would be helpful in order for us to better help you. If the car is under warranty, check with the warranty company; depending on your warranty, you may or may not be required to take your vehicle to the dealership for service/repairs. If the warranty allows you to take your vehicle to an independent garage or independent mechanic, this is almost always (but not always) a less expensive way to go, but choose carefully where you take it. If the car is NOT under warranty, I would consider taking it to an independent garage or mechanic (but like I said before, in this case choose carefully where you take it). If you know someone at an independent shop that is an ASE certified mechanic, your warranty MAY allow you to take your vehicle to that person's shop, which may be a less expensive way to go. My husband recently bought a sports car for me, and our warranty allows him to work on the car because he is an ASE certified mechanic. The only thing we would go to the dealer for is if we were to need a part for the car that could only be obtained from the dealer. Best of luck to you.

Find the beamers that are falling apart. You get what you pay for; a beamer is not a cheap car.
