I see there are not too many parts for this Motor cam etc. But for the cost I would be getting great low end power. I am paying a very low price for a cool looking body with a big block. How does a Buick motor for drag racing just some low cost fun.....

HI ,i have a w reg astra with loads of smoke coming out of the exshaust,on oil filler cap there is creamy looking sludge,does it mean the head gasket has gone and how much should i be looking paying.Cheers

The seat belt looks perfectly normal, doesn't appear to be doubled over etc. It has been partially pulled out and is completely stuck, no 'give' at all. It's an old style 3-door T reg hatch. Any ideas on how to free it?

I searched for where the switch was located but couldnt find an answer, I can now answer it myself. take the passengers side front wheel off and it can be clearly seen screwed into the gearbox casing you need a 19mm open ender to remove it. As always pop the plug off and short the socket holes together to test the electrics. WD40 and repeated operation cured mine.

1 have a 1993 BMW 530i V8 M60 engine just had an oil service by BMW main dealer. I picked up the car and noticed a "lawnmower" type of sound from the engine, can anyone tell me wot dis noise is? or has BMW dealer messed up my engine? could it damage my engine? or how much would it would cause to correct it/ Any answer would be more than welcomed. thanks

Hi, I have problems with my 96 lancer, when I'm driving and accelerating my car screeches for a brief moment then stops, i have tried to replicate the noise when stationary but it seems that the screech only happens when the car is moving...what could it be?
i've also got another problem with the car in that when im turning and have it on full lock the car starts screeching...any ideas how to solve this problem?

My 1998 freelander diesel is still playing up sometimes when you first start it from cold. I have had the diesel system checked and the glow plugs checked they were found to be ok.If it is playing up i have to put my foot down to the floor to get it to go. Thanks

I recently had my front windshield replaced and now I've noticed when I put the wipers on the make a lot of noise, like they are scraping against the glass rather than wiping the glass. Could it be a problem with the windshield itself? Or is it the wipers. They never made noises like this before the windshield was replaced. What could it be?

I know I can clean the interior but every time I turn the air or heat on, I gag!!! ugh! It's a cute little Nissan p/up but the cigarette smoke seems to permeate the whole vehicle. Is this a lost cause? any and all ideas appreciated. thanks

I just changed the oil, put in an Oil Treatment (higher mileage engine) and a fuel system cleaner to a full tank of gas. It had a slight chatter before but after I put in the additives, it went away for all of 10 minutes. Now it knocks worse then before and horribly loud while accelerating. If the car is idling, it knocks quiet a few times then theres a knock thats slightly louder than the rest. Any ideas? The cars a 1999 Chrysler Concorde 2.7L DOHC
