At the shop I work at, I did one here a little wile ago and it was aobut $250CDN. The price will vary from place to place. Also before you have the alternator replaced, have and AVR test done, it will check the charging system and make sure that there isnt' another problem. Its better to check and make sure then to go ahead and spend $250 and not have the problem fixed. At my shop the AVR test is about $46CDN. Prices will vary from shop to shop and area to area. Find a qualified full service garage that you trust and bring your car there.

It depends on where you are and where you shop. I checked in my area and it cost 55.00 at Auto Zone.

Call your local parts house and ask. Give them all the information on your car and they will help you. Then get a manual from your local library and do it yourself. It's not too hard to do, but do disconnect the negative cable on your battery before you start.

If you are completely un-mechanically inclined, get a mechanic to do it.

Your probablly going to spend between $200.00 - $300.00 if you have a mechanic do the job.Or you could go to a parts store & do it yourself with the help of a manual from your local library for about half the cost.
