My 1998 freelander diesel is still playing up sometimes when you first start it from cold. I have had the diesel system checked and the glow plugs checked they were found to be ok.If it is playing up i have to put my foot down to the floor to get it to go. Thanks

air flow sensor and new air filter req'd. If the airflow can't or doesn't monitor airflow, then how can it fuel properly, this is a very common failure in these type of cars.
Has someone checked compressions? Does it start ok when warm? or does it show the same symptoms cold or hot?
