1 have a 1993 BMW 530i V8 M60 engine just had an oil service by BMW main dealer. I picked up the car and noticed a "lawnmower" type of sound from the engine, can anyone tell me wot dis noise is? or has BMW dealer messed up my engine? could it damage my engine? or how much would it would cause to correct it/ Any answer would be more than welcomed. thanks

You should run screaming back to the dealer, or at least pop the hood and see if you can pinpoint the source. I have found all sorts of things left in my engine by mechanics... tools and such, so what you are hearing could be anything, but you better check it out.

Take it back to the dealer, check your oil level.

Sounds like they stripped out your spark plug hole. You will need a new head. Don't let them talk you into a helicoil.
