I put sea foam in my 94 toyota PU 22re i put it in when the tank was empty and filled up with 91 octane. well it ran fine till i got to a 1/4 tank and now it knocks under hard accelaration. my spark plugs have a 124,000 miles on them i have new ones sould i put gas in and clear out the sea foam before i put my new plugs in?

could a broken timming belt cause camshaft not to turn and leave a valve open to cause no compression?????????
This is a Volvo penta 4 cylinder.
I think the headgasket went causing the motor to suck in water.
It stalled I did not why it was running normal temp.
I tried to start it cranked slow then locked up a second probably breaking timming belt. Is that why no compression? Broke belt causing cam to not turn leaving a valve open????

well i gotta 92 lincoln continental i kno theres a leak but i dont know where exactly but the leak puddles one real small one is by the left front tire like a two feet from it and the other is like directly under thte belts theres a hose there but idk if its for power steering the one by the tire is real small but the one like directly under the belts leaks alot plz try to explian what i can do or what it is or both

I am planning to paint my car. I need some help on the preparation process. First of all, how do I properly sand it?

FYI- My car currently has two coats of paint. It has the original and then a different color painted on top of that.

If the instructions are in depth or too long to post, a link to that web page would be great! Any help is appreciated.

Also now when im driving and i put my foot down the car kind of splutters like its running out of petrol but its full of petrol could this be related to the knocking sound,
I asked a mechanic about it and he said it could be something wrong with the gearbox.

Every time my car moves I can hear it and it's driving me crazy!!! If it were any other thing I would spray W-D40, but can I do it to my 95 Honda Passport?? or is this another problem? I wouldn't say other people can hear it, but I can when I'm driving and ever since my stereo got stolen last week, now I can definitely hear it!! I mean, do I need new shocks or what is the solution??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The thing is..... There is hardly any power in the engine now at all, and it sounds like it's running on about 1 or 2 cylinders perhaps?

I have replaced the plugs (NEW), leads (NEW), Coil Pack (NEW)air filter (for economy purposes (NEW) and advance/retard lead (NEW). After all that, it still has no power. It has had a diagnostics check by an electrician and there is NO fault code coming up. Does this mean it is definitely a 'mechanical' fault? When I get to a junction also, it just 'conks-out' and the revs drop to below 0! Any ideas people?

This film is kind of waxy looking and glass cleaners don't remove it. I called a window replacement center and the only alternative I was offered was to have it replaced. I have compared my window to others and mine looks terrible. It's especially worse at night, causes a bad glare.

I have a 1992 ford aerostar minivan. About two months ago, it broke down. Mechanic said there was gas in the oil. He changed the spark plugs, fuel pump, oil and oil filter. it worked for two days when i got it back, and broke down for the same reason. same mechanic looked at it, and couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. I took it to a differant mechanic, and he changed some relays, it worked for about three days, but would sputter alot and stalled out several times. It finally broke down again, so we changed the computer in it....still doesnt work....does anybody have any ideas as to what this could be?

When I put the key to the on position, i get a humming noise coming from the engine. And if I press the accelerator it makes a hissing noise that is scaled to how much I press on it. The car is a 2003 Suburu Forester with 70k miles. Don't understand why anything at all should be running when the key is only in ON. Any help or ideas to whats happening would be appreciated.
