Sounds like you dont mind being under the car. So check the puddle under the center of the belts first if it is oilie its the front seal on the motor (Oil Bad) If its waterie then its the hose (antifreeze Good) change the lower radiator hose. Now to the power steering have a friend run the car and turn the wheels from side to side and watch for the leak it will be easy to find, you should power wash the area before looking for the leak but not before the belt so do that first. Good Luck

Open the hood of your car. Fill the powersteering all the way to it's maximum level. Have someone start up the car and turn the steeringwheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right.A bunch of times. You'll see the leak. especially if it's a bad one. Puddles near the tire is usually a leaking rack n pinion. But since the fluid is under pressure if a hose has a pin hole in it it could spray to just about anywhere. But you should be able to pin point it. To me it's easier to see the the leak at night with a fairly powerful flashlight. It's hard to see leaks in the daylight with the hood open.

what color is the fluid leaking out? the p\s and or trans fluid could be leaking from the area you describe but is the p\s making noise? you would hear a whining noise when turning the wheel and is the p\s fluid low? there is and ulta violet dye that most repair shops will use to check this but you need a ulta violet light to check. however the engine area you speek of should be degreased first before the dye goes in then you will be able to find it better. good luck
