gas in the oil huh? it could be a couple of different causes... worn rings(most likely), bad fuel injector putting too much fuel out/ valves(doubtful), broken piston head, cracked head/block..the best thing for you to do is to have it inspected by a qualified and trusted technician to be able to answer all your questions. good luck.

It needs to be changed or your car is running rich. Either one get in and have the oil changed and go a couple of 100 miles and reinspect. If you smell gas again have your fuel system inspected. Could be an injector or O2 sensor.

It is slightly possible that you have a crack in the block somewhere near the intake manifold. This will cause the gas to mix with the oil and is not a healthy combination for your engine. Make sure your spark plugs are tight and there are no leaky injectors. If your not mechanically inclined get your vehicle service station.

Gas in the oil, get it fixed because the engine doesn't get lubricated very well with gas in it. Maybe be running too rich or a plug isn't firing. Or maybe an injector leaks when the engine is shut oo.

IF your oil smells like gas, it sounds like you have major blowby. You will need to check the cylinder compressions. Blowby is when raw fuel is getting by the piston rings and contaminating the engine oil. Check this asap, cause it will ruin the bearings.

Gas in the oil, but could be several things depending on the fuel system. If it's a carberator, then it may be a bad fuel pump. If it's fuel injection, then it would be the MAF sensor or fuel pressure regulator. Good luck.

Your rings are well worn and gasoline is slipping past the compression rings and getting into the crankcase. You also have low compression, it's hard to start, and has little power I'd bet.

sound like an ignition problem like sparkplugs or a bad coil pack. It is dumping too much fuel and not sparking enough.
