I need to know what size windshield wiper blades I need for my 2005 dodge neon. The owners manual doesn't tell me the size, only how to put them on. Does anyone know what size I need to buy?

Our 2001 Olds Intrigue, experiences a vibration when applying the brakes at 65+ that doesn't happen at slower speeds. I checked the pads and rotors and they seem to be in fine shape. It doesn't cause the car to veer or anything, but is very unsettling.

The oil level is fine. I changed it and replaced oil filter. Dodge caravan sport v-6 137,000 miles Does not come on in the morning only when engine has warmed up and sitting at a stop light or in traffic on our great highway construction zone. I think oil pressure sensor is bad what do you think?

Ok people, help a girl out.

I have a 2000 Honda Civic. I need to get under the hood. The hood (like most freakin things on this car) is now broken. No reason. Just all of a sudden the hood latch won't pop the hood. It makes this funny little noise but it won't pop the hood. Grrrr.

How the hell am I supposed to get the freakin hood open??? I have no money. I need to do this myself.

Plllleeeeeaaaasssseeee help!!

Hi, i have a 2001 Ford ZX2 (escort) with around 80,000 miles on it. It has the 2.0 DOHC Zetec engine. I am the original owner. For a while now ive noticed that when i come to a stop light or stop sign my oil light will flash on and off for a quick second, it never stays on. Just a couple quick flashes off and on. Then it goes right back out. Then when i come to another stop light it might do it again. It doesnt happen everytime i stop, but it is quite often. This usually doesnt start happening till after the engine has warmed up. I have kept my oil changed every 3000-5000 miles. The owners manual calls for 5W-20 motor oil, ive never even heard of that grade of oil before i bought this car. Could this oil be too thin? It looks like Johnsons baby oil when new! Would it hurt if i tried using a thicker oil?
What could be causing this light to flash on and off?
Other than this the car runs very well.
(Oh and yes, it does have oil in it)

I tried to get my truck alined but the guy said i need new inner tie rods. I jacked up one side of my truck and pushed on the tire and i can see that there is play on both sides of the truck. Ball joints are brand new. Is there supposed to be any play at all when you push the tire at positions 9 and 3? I've got about half and inch to and inch of play. Could this be why im getting a vibration?

Noone smokes in the vehicle and even after you have just cleaned it it's like it fogs back up. Is there anything you can do to get rid of that film? It's almost like you never even cleaned it.

Finally got my Bronco ll to the shop and was told its the cc.Mechanic assures me that the black smoke, intermittant sputtering/ stalling and clogged sound under the hood all point to clogged converter. At $300, total cost i say what the hell why not.But Im not convinced... Anyone had a converter go bad? what are the signs?I thought it would run sluggish all of the time and mine doesnt. Also how is the converter linked to the o2 sensor? should i replace this too?

Inherited a '97 Contour GL 2.0L 4-Cyl with 101k miles. I can't get in touch with the previous owner, so I don't have complete service records. On cold days (< 50 deg F), the timing belt slaps against the plastic cover for about 10-15 seconds before it settles down and everything's OK. Maintenance schedule calls for a replacement at 60K mile intervals and I don't know if was done at 60K. I do know that a used or rebuilt motor was dropped in at 78K. It would seem reasonable that the belt was replaced at this point along with the pulleys which is common (good) practice. But, I don't know for sure.

The belt looks good upon visual inspection--rubber isn't damaged at all on the 10 or so inches that can be seen from up top. I don't like to do overdo things, but I don't like to neglect things either. From what I've read, that slapping spells trouble. Or does it? Can I let this wait another few K miles? I plan to get rid of it in the spring.
