C

Driving through a puddle, or any body of water could make your brake linings wet, therefore reducing your ability to slow down or stop the vehicle.

Here in the UK after driving through water we are advised to try our brakes to ensure they are working before driving any further.

C because since you drove TO them, I am assuming you want to stop very quickly once you are there and constantly breaking as hard as you can so as to avoid the puddle would wear on your breaks, tires, etc very quickly.
