I paid $100 for this truck after it was in an accident and after I went over and through it it runs pretty good now, but it loapes (idol's up and down) at random I've tried timing it checking all the vacume lines that are STILL ON IT, and still no luck. If I can't fix this problem I'll go to a throtle body injection system, I have all the parts but I don't really want to do all that work untill I get it looking better. 82 F150, 302 ci, factory motorcraft carb, 4x4.

i'm 16 and my dad gave me a engine he used to have in a 71' Chevy Chevelle Malibu. It has a Holley 4 bbl carb, Edlebrock Torquer II intake and Comp cam cam shaft and rockers and etc...I suppose its a pretty high performance motor. But would I be able to just mount on a blower system? or is there somehings i will have to change/buy differently???

I have a 98 plymouth, and i noticed in the last couple of days that there has been dried up water spots under the veh.At first they were as round as a plate, and today the spot was the size of a tire, and looked like it ran down the driveway a little bit.They have been different spots each day, and the veh has been put in a different spot to check this.This started this past sunday after I got my oil changed.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance

Hi, I have a Dodge Ram 1500. I drove the truck home about an hour. Then I went back out to go to the store. When I got in, the lights inside the cab came on temporarily signifying the battery was working...then when I turned the ignition everything went dead. Just clicking noises when I try. Then I jumped the truck off of my wifes car and let it run for a long time. I suppose that would mean the starter works fine...but once I turned my truck off again, it would not crank back up...just plain dead. I really don't think it is the battery, but I'm not a pro. Could this be the alternator? Any help is appreciated.

I was driving down the freeway and my G20 just lost power (no sputtering), then, as I pulled off to the side to exit it appeared to be OK so I pulled back onto the freeway. After another minute it lost power again so I pulled off at the next exit where I pulled over - the car seemed to be purring normally (so I thought maybe it swallowed a bad chunck of gas). I pulled back onto the freeway. Two exits later I could feel the power leaving again so I pulled off on the next exit. As I was driving down the road trying to get to a car repair place I had been to before it started losing power again. I drove on the shoulder surging then rolling repeatedly as the power went and came back. I made it to where I cut across to make a left hand turn - I was able to cut acroos to the turn lane, wait at the light and turn to make it to the car place. They looked at the car and found nothing unusual - they replaced the air & gas filter. No prob with injectors/firing. Still not resolved... HELP

I lost my gas cap 2 weeks ago and have been driving without it. There is a metal seal , it keeps the gas in .Would driving without a gas cap cause problems like the check engine light to come on and a weird burning smell? ( I smell something burning but temp gage is normal.)

Hi, I was hoping you guys can help me out. I have a 2005 Honda Accord. When I went to school and back today, the car was fine. Tonight when I went to pick up my girlfriend, I pulled out of the driveway and started driving and noticed a very loud screeching sound which only occurs when the car is in motion. When I backup, it's not as loud. Gradually the sound got softer but it's still there. We happened to have very heavy rain these past two days, so I do not know if that has anything to do with it.

Since the car is still rather new, I hope it has something to do with the water maybe getting in somewhere and not something more serious.

How do i check the inner tie rods?? i know how to do the outer. If the outer are loose the wheel will move when pushing it 9 and 3, but if the inner are loose does that mean there is excessive play in the steering?
