save some money and in the mean time take the bus or ask afriend for a ride or ride your bicycle

I've been there, man. What you have to do is buy yourself some time. You can't fix the transmission yourself, you don't have the tools... even if you had the know how. You can't get a loan or buy another one... I know exactly. Right this minute, you don't need a loan. You need time. You need the car to run untill you can afford to fix it. I don't know how bad your transmission is, but let's assume that it still works well enough to get you to work (if it doesn't, you only have one option...ride with a friend). On your way home from work, stop at the auto parts store and get a transmission additive made by Lucas Products. Pour that into your fluid resorvoir and ONLY DRIVE IT TO WORK! Stuff from Lucas is great... works like a champ. But your transmission is warning you that its time with you is very limited... don't push it. Then, save some money and either get a different car or a different transmission. Just like everything else in this life, start from scratch... work your way to where you want to be.

go 2 a tax,and title loan place...or to a auto pawn shop to pawn your title.
