some GM cars are not friendly to a change of alarm from the factory and the best advice that you can get is to go to a professional car alarm company for that installation----------sometimes you can go in the back door of the shop and get a mechanic to help you on his day off -----that does not get you any warranty and enen though you already own the car-start-remote they will give you some warranty if you ask in a nice way....

chiltons automobile repair book you can find it for your make and model and year of car or try your local library shelf youd be amazed or how about your dad mine would know.you could also try the dealer or auto wreckers may know
