a bit of arm and hammer ( baking soda?) will help you also need to dry the carpets and under padding as mildew will set in and the only way i know to come close to getting rid of that is ammonia , do NOT breathe that stuff, dry those carpets!!!!

Use some Febreeze, and then leave the windows cracked and let it dry.
