Hi. I have made the mistake of filling up a diesel engine car (Rover 25 TDI) with petrol. The car drove the short distance home fine. Is there any way of sorthing this out without calling the garage? Thanks.

The car I drive is not a supermini, its a five door hatchback, yet the horn is a pathetic toot-toot that everyone who hears agrees it sounds like a noddy car. I drive quite freqently in busy traffic conditions and often need to use my horn when other drivers don't appear to be aware of my presence on the road and are about to "cut me up" (okay, you know what I mean). However my cute horn doesn't really have any effect and I'm getting experienced at emergency stops. I am not thinking of changing my car just yet, it is great in every other way, so I was wondering if I could change the horn and what would be involved in that. Also does it have to be declared as a modification and would it affect my insurance??

Last night my car was running fine. Stopped at BP and got gas was running fine down the interstate. Got to my exit ramp, then it started sputten' the died. It would act as if it was going to start but never did. We put gas treatment in it. And it would start and run but when you would go to take off it died. called a tow, towed it home and it starts and goes now.
I am thinking that with the tow it could of mixed that treatment in there with the gas.
Could that be the case? Really not sure on vechiles and don;t want to take to shop if that is all it was.

I have checked front discs and pads. Appears to be working fine. Checked back brakes for shoes, operation and adjustment. Everything seems ok. What is the problem?

The truck temp is fine, but the gauge flutters and drops. It is fine the next time I start up; until I get to normal operation temp. Could it be a bad sensor, or should I worry about the pump? Or maybe something else?
