I'm not the one trying to do this someone did this to me, but I'm not sure how much and also it looked like it was not regular sugar but finer looking?

No sugar will not harm your car's engine! Bleach or Clorox will lock it down tight!

Yes it can, when the fuel is burned, the sugar caramalises, cloggilg the chamber and ulimatly ruining the motor.

As to whether it takes alot I'm not sure, having never tried it myself, but I should think that as little as 2 bor 3 cubes would be enough to do substantial damage.

I saw this on "Mythbusters" they put about five pounds of sugar in the gas tank and it didn't do a thing they also did bleach and a bunch of other stuff nothing made very much difference, Skunk lure in the vents however will render the car unusable

The simple answer is the worst you will get is a stopped up filter. Keep driving and never let the person know you were this concerned over it. The filtering system on today's automobiles are better than any time in history. Happy motoring.

A lot of anything in your gas tank besides gas isn't good for the car.

Yes and with fuel injection, no. It blocks the small ports in the fuel system by forming a varnish.

It takes a lot, a whole lot! It's better to use bleach, It will rust every thing out.

yes it can ,it cristializeing in the fuel clogging the fuel deliver system either fuel injectors or carb

yes it will block injectors and kill motor. but it can also get jail time you just ruined someones 25,000$ vehicle

could mess up the fuel filter.... and then you'd be looking to get your thumb ready for use...
