could be a blown fuse. bad relay.

start with the simple things first, ck the fuse and flasher if ok the you will need to look at the turn signal switch. Mid 80 gm cars espically with tilt were prone to breaking the wires that run down the steering column and or burning the switch contacts behind the steering wheel. years ago when these cars were popular i had quite a few customers complain that they smelled smoke or had seen smoke come from behind the steering wheel because of this switch

It quite simple. All you need is a brick, get in the car and start it, put a brick on the pedal and jump out. Make sure its by a cliff.

Did you try changing the fuses?

You might be low on blinker fluid.

poss turn switch if not blinking at all if they light up but not blink then relay
