You should never use a an engine flush on any motor with more than 25,000. If you do you run the risk of finding a few seal leaks that would otherwise not have leaked. You also run the risk of further damaging worn parts by reducing the viscosity of the oil even for a few minutes. I had a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix that ran beautifully with the original engine. I thought I would do it a favor and flush the engine. The solvents broke down a mess of sludge in the oil pan and it plggud the oil pick-up. The engine began knocking before I knew what had happened. That engine was the reason I became a mechanic.
Leave well enough alone. If you find heavy sludge deposits on the drain plug I would recommend removing the valve covers and oil pan and carefully use proper degreasing methods and manually clean it out. A few hours labor and the cost of a few gaskets is cheaper than a new engine. Just a "worst-case-scenario" tho. I'd think about it!

the oil filter might be behind the engine, next to the fire wall. as far as the dura lube stuff, if you want to you can. i wouldnt though, i just dont see how it works.
what i usually do is drain the oil, put a new filter on, fill up the engine to its full mark on the stick with new regular oil, drive it around for a few hundred miles, then drain it and add oil in, usually, that removes all the crap out of the engine.

Are you talking cooling system or oil (crankcase flush)? Cooling system is fairly simple. Drain, fill with water, put in 1/2 cup of laundry detergent, drive for a day or 2, drain and fill with anti-freeze mixture. Crankcase flush, you drain the oil, put on a new filter. Then put in deisel instead of oil. Start and idle for 3-5 minutes. Drain deisel fuel. Repeat this process once more. Then put on another new filter and fill with oil. Done. Good luck.

I would'nt.It flush's all the gunk it breaks lose down into your oil pan and even though you drain it you can still leave enough to clog your oil pump.
